Our Clergy
Rabbi Diamond comes to us with years of experience from various area synagogues. Rabbi Diamond is the chaplain of the Lynbrook Fire Department, and a past member of the Long Island Board of Rabbis. A graduate of the Talmudical Academy of Baltimore, the Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore, and Stony Brook University, he also attended the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Cantor Gadi Elon
Cantor Elon has been our cantor for over 20 years. He has officiated as the chazan for the congregation, taught children and adult b'nai mitzvah, worked as the music teacher for the Hebrew School, officiated at weddings and funerals. He also is an established singer with albums and concerts available throughout the Internet.

Rabbi Emeritus: Rabbi Mark Greenspan
Rabbi Greenspan served as OJC’s rabbi for over 20 years as well as chaplain of the Oceanside Fire Department before retiring in 2019. He previously served congregations in Tennessee and Pennsylvania.
He and his wife Marilyn currently reside in Seattle, Washington.
